Più di TEDx has the same aim, but with different locations. It has been done in more than 1200 città in tutto il mondo hanno accolto eventi ispirati a TED: Lecce è tra questecities around the world.
Nel 2015 si è svolta la quarta edizione di TEDx Lecce, sul tema “Revolutionary Roads”, che ha accolto ospiti illustri come Maryam Al Khawaja, attivista per i diritti umani, Giuseppe Onufrio, direttore esecutivo GreenPeace Italia, e Christophe Deloire, direttore Generale di Reporters sans Frontieres.
