An ancient masseria (farm/real estate) is chosen in San Cesario as location for the living nativity. It is organised from the association Arte e Cultura that is in charge of taking care of the nativity representation as well as the representation of the farm environment.

In the representation many characters are present: shoemaker, dove i figuranti interpretano i ruoli del calzolaiofarmer, del contadino, della massaia e dei pastori accorsi per rendere omaggio a Gesù Bambinofarmer’s wife and shepherds arrived to honour Jesus.
I '''sapori della tradizione''' accompagnano il percorso di visita, come le “pittule”, la pasta fatta in casa e il legumi. Il 6 gennaio, infine, nel tardo pomeriggio la '''Befana''' scende dalla torre medievale e dona ai bambini dolci e caramelle.
