Wine and oil production

Most of the areas part of the municipality of Squinzano are cultivates with olive groves and vineyards.

The production of oil and wine has in this area a very ancient origin and it is the base for the economy of this territory. During the 20th century, many firms from the north Italy were buying oil and wine from here at a low price. However, today these products are independently known for their quality and authenticity.

From all over the world, it is request to buy the wine produced in Squinzano and the oil from Salento.
