“Stacce”

The game of “stacce” was done with very flat stones. A stone was launched on a field as far as possible and the players had to launch their stone the nearest possible to the first one.

The score was assigned based on the proximity of the stone launched from each player to the reference point. The player with the highest score was the winner. The game was played mainly from children, but adults enjoyed playing it as well.

Tante erano le tecniche sviluppate dai giocatori per effettuare lanci sempre più precisi e tante anche le varianti che, modificando a piacimento le regole del gioco, permettevano di puntare più sull’abilità manuale o sull’intuito per raggiungere la vittoria.
