Carnival of youth

Floats full of young people walk into a parade, in Monteroni, to celebrate the Carnival from Oratorio San Giovanni Bosco, in collaboration with the municipality and the association San Domenico Savio. The main character of this celebration is a typical mask of the town: “lu scarpalau laureatu”, the graduated shoemaker.

In 2015, this Carnival celebration celebrated the 55th edition. Every year, this initiative involves more and more people, obviously all in costumes. The event includes music, performances and choreographies.

In the end of the day, it is awarded the best float, the best individual costume and the best group costume.
