Borgo in festa is the name of an event, which takes place in the small village of Borgagne, municipality of Melendugno. For four days in the beginning of the summer, this event turns the entire village into the location for the celebrations
The old buildings surrounding the main square (piazza Sant’Antonio) become locations for conferences, concerts and exhibitions. The leading topic of this celebration is the respect of the nature through a sustainable development.
Along with the events, many gastronomic stalls are placed in the square, offering the most traditional dishes of Salento, enjoying the sounds of the popular music, played from the stage placed on the main square.
