Through civil and religious rituals, the devotees from the town of Squinzano, honour the Virgin. The main location of the celebrations is the church of Madonna del Pozzo, adjacent to the Franciscan cloister from the 17th century.

During July, for two days, the town of Squinzano is decorated with garlands, flowers and the traditional luminarie (decorative wood structures with lights). The celebrations terminate with the religious procession, which takes the statue of the Virgin through the streets of the town, accompanied from songs and music.

The following day, the religious ritual take place along the all day and, in the evening, a live concert of popular music, is hosted in the main square.
