Masks and floats join a big parade to celebrate Carnival in Melendugno and in Borgagne. This carnival parade celebrates the 50th edition in 2016. Preparation for this event always starts few months in advance.
A few months are needed to prepare the costumes and the choreographies for the parade. On the floats are placed huge structures of colourful “cartapesta”. During the parade on each float, a group of dancer shows a different choreography.
Anche a Borgagne, frazione di Melendugno, si organizzano momenti di incontro e di festa per il Carnevale, coinvolgendo anche i più piccoli nella realizzazione delle coreografie in maschera.
