Lecce turns into a “red carpet” getting ready to welcome directors and actors from all over the world, to participate in the Cinema Europeo Festival.
During the spring, Cinema Massimo interrupts its habitual routine, in order to become the location of the festival and to welcome well-known characters from both the Italian and the international film industry. The festival is combined with exhibitions and other cultural events, spread throughout the city, giving the possibility to visitors to meet their myths.
Ogni edizione è caratterizzata inoltre dall’omaggio a un grande regista, presentandone le opere e celebrandolo con un premio alla carriera. Ma c’è spazio anche per gli emergenti e per gli autori di cortometraggi.
