A small celebration, but very significant for the devotees, is dedicated to Madonna di Loreto. The main location of the celebrations is the church dedicated to the Virgin.
The chapel was built in the 16th century and it is located about one kilometre outside the town, towards Casalabate. The legend says that this place used to be called “the mountain of the battle”, since it is here that took place the fight between Spanish and French soldiers.
In 1990, during the renovation works of the chapel, it was discovered a fresco from 1500, a portrait of the Virgin of Loreto.
