Flowers and garlands announce the arrival of the celebration dedicated to the Virgin in Borgagne, municipality of Melendugno.
In July, the village gets ready for the celebrations and their main location is the church of Madonna del Carmine. After the spiritual preparation, the festival starts with the procession, which takes the statue of the Virgin throughout the streets of the village to bless its citizens, followed from the marching band.
Il giorno seguente, le messe si susseguono dal mattino e, in serata, la banda si esibisce nel grande concerto conclusivo in piazza.
