Sagra te lu ranu

“Sagra de lu ranu” is an event which take place in Merine, municipality of Lizanello, to celebrate one of the most rich and fundamental agricultural product: the wheat.

Wheat is the main ingredient in the gastronomic stalls of the event. Indeed, it is possible to taste focaccia, handmade pasta and pittule, the fried dough filled with olives and tomatoes. Last but not least, the food offer is completed with dessert, always based on wheat, like pasticciotti, puffy dough filled with crema pasticcera.

Concerts, shows and street artists liven up the evening of celebration.
