In Castri, for the Virgin day, takes place a large fair with very ancient origins.
The religious celebrations start in the early hours of the morning, and right after the streets are already full of stalls, selling goods of every kind. All the citizens walk through the town, looking for good deals or just to gather with friends and familiars.
The commercial stalls can satisfy everyone. Kitchen objects, clothes, accessories, ornaments for the house and much more it is offered in the stalls. Furthermore, it was kept the tradition of selling small animals and small tools for agriculture, useful for the farmers for the coming winter.
