The location of the fair is the magical cloister of Teatini in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. In the exposition there are the finest handcrafts of “cartapesta” and “terracotta”. Visitors, both tourists and locals, walk around the fair to buy, or just to admire, the “pupi”, handmade characters for the nativity scene.
C’è spazio anche per la sperimentazione, con oggetti e decorazioni natalizie frutto della creatività dei partecipanti, che allestiscono il proprio stand tra lo spazio esterno e le sale interne dell’ex convento a pochi passi da piazza Sant’Oronzo e dal Duomo.

La magica cornice dell’ex chiostro dei Teatini su corso Vittorio Emanuele si popola di manufatti artistici realizzati a mano in terracotta e cartapesta come vuole la tradizione. I tanti visitatori comprendono numerosi salentini ma anche tanti turisti che vengono ad ammirare i “pupi”, i personaggi del presepe modellati in ogni forma e dimensione.
C’è spazio anche per la sperimentazione, con oggetti e decorazioni natalizie frutto della creatività dei partecipanti, che allestiscono il proprio stand tra lo spazio esterno e le sale interne dell’ex convento a pochi passi da piazza Sant’Oronzo e dal Duomo.
