A space to creativity and innovative ideas is given through TEDx Lecce. International guests, with their stories, promote innovative ideas within the local community, through many cultural events.
TEDx is a product of the not for profit organization TED, based in Long Beach in California, that has the aim to spread valuable ideas through an annual meeting. TEDx has the same aim, but with different locations. It has been done in more than 1200 cities around the world.
The 4th edition of TEDx took place in 2015 with the topic “Revolutionary Roads”. Among the speakers Maryam Al Khawaja, activist for human rights, Giuseppe Onufrio, director of GreenPeace Italia, Christophe Deloire, director of Reporters sans Frontieres.

Spazio alle idee con TEDx Lecce. Ospiti internazionali si confrontano con la comunità locale per condividere e sviluppare pensieri innovativi, nell’ambito di una fitta programmazione di eventi culturali.
All’origine c’è TED, un’organizzazione no-profit che opera per diffondere idee di valore da circa 30 anni e si riunisce nella conferenza annuale a Long Beach, in California. Più di 1200 città in tutto il mondo hanno accolto eventi ispirati a TED: Lecce è tra queste.
Nel 2015 si è svolta la quarta edizione di TEDx Lecce, sul tema “Revolutionary Roads”, che ha accolto ospiti illustri come Maryam Al Khawaja, attivista per i diritti umani, Giuseppe Onufrio, direttore esecutivo GreenPeace Italia, e Christophe Deloire, direttore Generale di Reporters sans Frontieres.
