The simplest objects, and sometime even garbage, could become small treasure to have fun with friends. The cap game proves exactly this.
The cap game was created after the Second World War, when for the first time was spread the use of crown caps. These caps were placed in a line on a table and snapping the fingers they were launched towards the aimed point.
Caps were personalised from the participants, sticking on top photos of famous athletes, as the race was taking place among bikers and runners.

Gli oggetti più semplici, persino i rifiuti, possono diventare piccoli tesori con cui giocare e divertirsi. Come nel gioco dei tappi, che a Lecce e nel Salento un tempo era molto diffuso.
Questo gioco nacque nel secondo dopoguerra quando si diffusero i tappi a corona, che venivano lanciati con abilità e strategia da grandi piccini. Dopo averli appoggiati sul piano di gara con la corona rivolta verso l’alto, uno schiocco di dita ben assestato faceva volare il tappo verso la meta prefissata.
Per personalizzare i tappi si usava anche ritagliare i volti dei ciclisti e di altri atleti famosi attaccandoli sulla superficie rotonda, come se la competizione si svolgesse proprio fra i corridori.
