Nell’estate del 2015 al Museo diffuso si è aggiunto il Museo didattico archeologico, un polo espositivo in cui gradualmente confluiranno alcuni degli oggetti e dei manufatti ritrovati a Cavallino dagli studiosi.
La nuova istituzione punta ad essere anche un centro culturale e un luogo di formazione per giovani archeologi provenienti da tutto il mondo.
