One day, the sheeps of Mr. Tore Quaranta got sick and the general believe was that he was hit by the evil eye because someone was jealous of his beautiful wife. To act against the evil eye, Mr. Tore Quaranta decided to hang a talisman on the tower of his real estate.

Le pecore del signor Tore erano ammalate e molti sostenevano che si trattasse di malocchio dovuto all’invidia per la bella moglie del massaro, la signora Antonia. Per scongiurare la maledizione, Tore si convinse ad utilizzare un amuleto fatto di corna di bue e andò ad appenderlo sulla torre della masseria.
Nel frattempo, però, l’ammiratore della signora Antonia si introdusse furtivamente in casa approfittando dell’assenza del marito.
