Floats full of young people walk into a parade, in Monteroni, to celebrate the Carnival from Oratorio San Giovanni Bosco, in collaboration with the municipality and the association San Domenico Savio. The main character of this celebration is a typical mask of the town: “lu scarpalau laureatu”, the graduated shoemaker.

In the end of the day, it is awarded the best float, the best individual costume and the best group costume.

Le maschere sono in competizione tra loro, infatti a conclusione della giornata si assegnano dei premi ai migliori per ciascuna categoria: carri, gruppi mascherati e singoli travestimenti.
