An ancient masseria (farm/real estate) is chosen in San Cesario as location for the living nativity. It is organised from the association Arte e Cultura that is in charge of taking care of the nativity representation as well as the representation of the farm environment.
The living nativity is created in Masseria Cervola. In the representation many characters are present: shoemaker, farmer, farmer’s wife and shepherds arrived to honour Jesus.
During the visit into the living nativity is possible to taste the most traditional dishes, like “pittule”, legumes and handmade pasta. In the last day of the living nativity, the 6th, “la Befana” will come down from the medieval tower to give candies and sweets to children.
