Una piccola festa religiosa ma molto cara ai fedeli di Squinzano è quella dedicata alla Madonna di Loreto. Il cuore dei festeggiamenti è la '''cappella''' intitolata alla Vergine Lauretana.

La piccola chiesa di Squinzano risale al XVI secolo e si trova a circa un chilometro dal paese, sulla via che porta a Casalabate. Pare che questo luogo fosse chiamato “monte della battaglia” perché qui si svolse lo scontro tra soldati spagnoli e francesi.

Nel 1990, durante i lavori di '''restauro''', fu rinvenuto un '''affresco''' di fine ‘500 raffigurante la Vergine di Loreto, protagonista della festa religiosa celebrata a Squinzano.
