Nel cuore dell’estate salentina, il rinascimentale borgo di '''Roca Nuova''', grazie alla solerzia della Pro Loco di Melendugno, '''torna indietro nei secoli''' e si popola di antichi e curiosi personaggi.

La rievocazione storica è ambientata al tempo dei legionari e immerge i visitatori in un’atmosfera suggestiva ai piedi della imponente torre di guardia del borgo che a mezzanotte si colora con spettacolari fuochi pirici.

Antichi rituali, duelli, musiche, mercatini allestiti nelle caratteristiche abitazioni di Roca, balestrieri e mangiafuoco fanno da cornice all’ormai atteso evento che invita anche a sedere alla tavola dei Romani per assaporare i piatti dell’epoca, a gironzolare tra gli stand gastronomici o, magari, con l’aiuto di guide esperte, montare a cavallo per provare l’ebrezza dei cavalieri di un tempo.
